What is a Stop and Drop?

Having an entry foyer at your front door is a great way to make a strong first impression. After all, just like a mud room, the stop and drop is often meant to be a place to avoid tracking in the outdoors.

Many home designs feature a stop and drop that connects to the kitchen to make it easier bringing in groceries. Others may be closer to the laundry room, depending on your home’s specific layout. Regardless, these stop and drop areas can be constructed where you’ll get the most use out of them for your particular home design, and inevitably, they add more storage space, which is always appreciated.
