The Whistling Palm floor plan is designed for primarily first-floor living, though it includes a partial second floor. In total, the home has four bedrooms, 4.5 bathrooms, and 3,709 square feet of living space. In addition, the garage has 1,007 square feet, there’s 89 square feet of storage, and 431 square feet of porches, which play an important part in our indoor/outdoor-living designs.

You enter the home via a spacious covered front porch and double doors that lead into the foyer next to the stairs. Directly ahead is the large central living room that leads out onto the back covered porch via double sliding glass doors, creating a light-filled space. Next to the living room is the kitchen and the dining room, which also offers access to the porch, ideal for entertaining.

Through a doorway off the kitchen, you have access to one of the two first-floor bedrooms, which is spacious and has an ensuite bathroom. The kitchen doorway also leads to the walk-in pantry, the laundry room and a mud room that leads to the hallway that connects to the garage. Along the hallway is access to an outside fenced area for trash and outdoor utilities. There’s also access to a storage area.

The other side of the home is accessed via the foyer. There you will find a convenient half-bathroom for guests, the home office with double doors, and an entrance to the primary suite. This spacious bedroom suite includes a vaulted ceiling in the bedroom, a luxurious bathroom and two walk-in closets. There is also access to the back porch from the bedroom.

Upstairs, the partial second floor includes additional storage closets, a generous loft space, and two more spacious bedrooms, each with their own private full bathroom.
